Holiday season is here and I hope everyone is enjoying and having a merry time with their loved ones. This Christmas our daughter wished to visit Ramoji Film City. The film city is a must visit place in Hyderabad specially in winter. Hyderabad doesn’t have chilled winters but winter carnival in Ramoji Film City can give you a good vibes of winter fairyland. So we decided to take our princess to witness the magic of winter carnival of Ramoji Film City.
Now before sharing my day, I would like to share little information regarding Ramoji Film City with my readers who are not aware of this place. Ramoji Film City is a film studio in Hyderabad spread over a huge area of 1666 acres of land. It is the largest film studio complex in the world and that has been certified by Guinness World Records. The Guardian has explained Ramoji Film City as “city within a city”. It welcomes about 1.5 million tourists every year. So, no doubt it is one of the most popular place in Hyderabad.

So let’s come back to my travel blogpost of Ramoji Film City on this Christmas. As I mentioned above my girl wanted to visit film city on Christmas so she was eagerly waiting for Christmas morning for two reasons. One reason was to see her Christmas gifts and other one was to go to the film city. So she woke up very early in the morning that is quite unusual but the excitement of having many good things made her wake up early. And after cheerfully receiving her gift, she got ready and so we set out for our Christmas outing to Ramoji Film City.
There is an option for online ticket booking from Ramoji Film City’s official website or you can instantly get your tickets on spot.

Being quite energetic we finished all these places and headed towards Fundustan. There we saw a circus show which was indeed very nice. We enjoyed the show a lot.
After this we sat for a while as we were feeling a bit tired but then we decided to go towards Bahubali set. For that we had to board a bus again to reach there to see the magnificent Bahubali set. The entire set was eye captivating. We had our lunch there at Bahubali restaurant. And after having our hearty meal we came back to Eureka.
It was time to see some show, so we headed towards Ramoji movie magic. Saw some breathtaking dance performances by Ramoji’s artists. By this time it was getting dark and the most exciting part was yet to see. The Christmas lights were on and it was indeed looking like a fairyland. Live show as a part of Christmas Carnival started by that time.
We enjoyed the lights with a giant Christmas tree and had some evening snacks with coffee. And the day spent very well. And it was time to come back home. This year Christmas went very well.
I hope, you all had a great time this Christmas. Please share with me how was your Christmas in the comment section.
Wish you all a Happy New Year !!
